Teardowns of the products builders already use
These are CobaltCapture's own studies, run cold against well-known products and published in full: a pricing teardown that works out what a solo user, a team of five, and a company of twenty-five would actually pay, and a positioning teardown that reads the public pages the way a first-time visitor does. Every page is what the product would produce for you.
Each study is an AI run of a ready-made Cobalt playbook against the product's public pages, with no account created and nothing submitted. Findings are ranked by outcome for a buyer or a visitor, not by taste, and every page keeps a list of what the product does well so nobody regresses it. The reviews live in the CobaltCapture account, stay editable, and are re-run when the product's pricing changes. If you make one of these products and want a correction, tell us.
Products
One page per product, newest run first. Each carries both studies, the price table as of the run date, the findings, and the full review.
Run one yourself
Connect the Cobalt server to your agent once, then ask for either study against your own product. No account is needed to start; the review lands at a shareable link.
Cursor and VS Code install in one click. Claude Code and Codex copy a command to run in your terminal, then restart the app.

Claude Code runs it as a slash command once the server is connected. Codex has no slash commands: connect with codex mcp add cobalt --url https://cobaltcapture.com/mcp, then paste the two lines. Cursor and VS Code connect with the button above, then take the sentence. In Claude chat, add https://cobaltcapture.com/mcp as a connector and ask in plain words; this study reads public pages, so it runs in full there. What this study checks.
